Eco-footprint data

Calculate and track the environmental impact of your product

Collecting product footprint data, also known as measuring Scope 3 emissions, involves assessing a product's environmental impact, including carbon emissions, resource use, and waste. This process is vital for companies, particularly in striving for a climate-neutral fashion industry.

Momentum enables brands to gather supply chain data directly from suppliers and analyze it through Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). This helps identify major emissions sources and opportunities for improvement, allowing companies to take action to reduce their environmental footprint and communicate their progress to stakeholders.

How to collect eco-footprint data in our platform?

1. Create a product and a variant and assign everything to a batch

Import or create your products in our platform and attach some variables to them (e.g. color, size or pattern).

2. Send a data request to your supplier

Once you have created a batch for one of your products, you can send an Eco-Footprint request to your supplier who produced the batch. The supplier must already be on the platform, otherwise you must invite them beforehand.

3. Wait until your supplier approves the request and sends you the product data

Your supplier will be notified of your request and only needs to confirm it. After successful confirmation, your supplier can send the eco-footprint data directly to you via our platform.
